villa Fatima located in the Vale de Parra region some 4 to 5km. to the west of Albufeira. This combines all aspects of a holiday that you could wish for. Vale de Parra is a region of quality villas in rural countryside and where there are superb sandy beaches ranging from the large expanses of sand at Gale to the cove beaches of Castelho.

 Individual restaurants abound and the small town of Guia, is a five minute drive from the villa and walking distance from others  .

Sporting facilities are available in the area including golf at Salgados and other courses a short drive away.

The waterslide park and the Zoomarina is only ten minutes drive away.

Albufeira itself is a bustling resort with an excellent sandy beach. The centre retains its traditional character and there is a wide choice of nightlife, shops, bars and restaurants.

The Villa is located 6 km west of Albuferia at a region called Sesmarias which is part of the Vale de Parra area.

The Villa is about a 35-40 minute drive from the airport using the A22 motorway to Albuferia and  then the N125 to Guia which is about 10 minutes away from the villa.

 The famous Gale beach is about 2 km away from the villa with mile after mile of golden sand also there are people there who do Jet ski hire, Banana boat rides, boat trips and paracending and the Sao Rafael beach is small and private and is a favourite with the locals, it is only a 15 minute walk. Both have resturants which do food and drink all day and you can have a shower for 1 euro after a day on the beach. The other local beaches are smaller but closer, Castello beach is only a 20 minute walk from the villa.

The largest shopping mall in the Algarve is just outside Guia about 10 minutes away in a car,   "Algarve Shopping"  boasts to have about 100 shops inc many designer outlets, Hypermarket and many restaurants  it also has a 8 screen cimema (some with english sound tracks) and 10 pin bowling alley. It never seems to shut, we have shopped there at 10.30 at night no problem.

The nearest resturant to the villa is "O Barco" which is a 5 minute walk away with a supermarket a short distance further along. There other resturants and bars when you turn left out of the villa which are a 15 minute walk away.

The villas around Villa Fatima are mainly owned by Portugiuse people, the villa is at the end of a small tarmac lane which means there is very little traffic passing by, other than the odd tractor. The other road  to "O Barco" is gravel and is only used by local villa owners.

When you need a night out on the tiles, Albuferia is only 10 to 15 minutes drive away, taxis are not exspensive, so eveybody can have a drink.

For all you Golfers there are about 20 courses with a 35 minute drive of the villa, the cost and quality of which vary to suit all levels of golfers. My agent is only 3 minutes away from the villa, he is on hand to sort out any problems you may have,  he can also arrange airport pick ups and returns, car hire, taxis, sight seeing trips and  he specialises in arranging Golf at many of the local courses.

Please ask him for costs a few weeks before your holiday, so he can book it if you want him too. 

So as you can see you have everything on hand to make your stay at "Villa Fatima"  the holiday you dreamed of.

Please note that the dates in July and August go very quickly so book early to avoid disappointment, I also can arrange for lets at a freinds 4 bedroom villa  which is about  a 3 minute drive away if you require more room than is available at " Villa Fatima "

The full house name is  " Venda casa nossa senhore de fatima " which is why we call it Villa Fatima, no 2 would be so much simpler still !.
